Auslese caters for all manner of functions that centre around wine and food. We offer various spaces and services that can be combined to tailor an event to your specific requirements. Below we have listed a few examples, but we are by no means limited to those mentioned. Speak to us about what you have in mind.

We can offer sommeliers in a full capacity to guide your guests through tastings and pairings or simply top notch wine service if you would prefer to host the tasting yourself. Our staff members are knowledgeable about our wines and foods and will be able to describe and explain anything served.

The venue hire includes the use of tables, chairs, linen, glasses, cutlery and tasting sheets. We will ensure that the wines for your event are stored and prepared to an impeccable standard. We can provide canapés paired specifically with your wines to complement and enhance them - for a tasting, a launch or before dinner with aperitifs.

Wine producers and agents are permitted to bring their own wines. Private individuals may be permitted to bring their own wines, but only by special arrangement in the case of exceptional bottles from a special collection.

Ample parking is available close by in the evenings.

These are a few examples of the sort of events we envisage:
  • Wine tastings in the Cellar (max 12 guests 1-2 hours)
  • Intimate wine and food pairing dinners (in one or more of our dining rooms for between 20 and 40 guests)
  • Smaller formal tastings for between 10 and 40 guests
  • Larger tastings or launches for up to 150 guests
  • Soirees or musical / art event with wines and canapés

  • The following spaces are available for functions:
  • 3 x interleading rooms seating between 10 - 40 guests (the rooms can be combined or closed off individually)
  • Courtyard (weather permitting)
  • Cellar - pre-dinner tasting for a maximum of 12 pax
  • Reception area
  • Verandah (enclosed)
